how to alchemize

1. Strip the wood of its adornments.

2. Hold at 45° and introduce it to flame.

3. Let the fire take for 10–15 seconds, then blow it out.

4. Guide the smoke around yourself, your objects, or your space.

5. Open a window; what you release needs somewhere to go.

6. Return the wood to a fire-safe container and let the smoke fade on its own.
