— Paolo Bacigalupi

My name is Fátima Alvarenga, or call me Ti.

I started Santi after a trip to my mother’s village, Santiago de María. I found myself thinking a lot about the people around me. There was a sense of connection, these were people from the same place my family comes from, but I also noticed how much tension they seemed to carry in their bodies.

It made me think about who gets access to practices like yoga in the first place. In my ideal world, people everywhere, even in small villages like Santiago de María, have access to connection and transformation.

When we practice together, expect:

An untrampled scorpion

bothers no one

  • fun, flowy + intelligently sequenced classes, with music that has soul

  • options, autonomy + rest. from beginner to seasoned, no pressure

  • dharma talks grounded in modern language, lived experience + yoga philosophy

  • thoughtful cueing, meditation & Sanskrit as I continue to learn

  • a real human being with a personal practice, teachers of my own + plenty of empathy

I’d love to chat…

It takes a village

Group of adults and children sitting and standing under a thatched roof structure outdoors, smiling and waving.

With love from
